Henning Christian Hofflund

Henning is a highly experienced infrastructure architect and technical advisor with more than 25 years of experience in complex IT transformations.

He specializes in the design, migration, and consolidation of large-scale infrastructures—often acting as technical lead, architect, and trusted sparring partner for both customers and project teams. Henning brings solid expertise in transformations, IT security, and automation, and works in a structured, pragmatic way to deliver solutions that scale, can be operated efficiently, and stand the test of real-world use.

Professional background

With an engineering background, I have worked with a wide range of IT transformations since 1998, primarily focusing on the design, implementation, migration, consolidation, and transition of infrastructure and Microsoft technologies.

I have extensive experience with complex IT projects and advising clients on the design and implementation of IT infrastructure, IT security, and systems, and I have worked with some of Denmark’s largest enterprises.

My specialty lies in maintaining an overview of large, complex installations based on diverse infrastructures and technologies, and I often act as a sparring partner, mentor, and technical lead on projects.

In IT infrastructure projects, I typically take on the role of architect and technical project manager, where professional sparring and coordination of the project’s technical resources are a natural part of the assignment. I am usually involved in the analysis and design phases as well as in the selection of solutions and vendors. I also frequently participate in negotiations together with the customer towards vendors and subcontractors.

I have significant experience with projects involving full or partial transitions to cloud-based infrastructure. In addition, I regularly take on specialized tasks such as automation, encryption (certificates, SSH, PGP, etc.), and data conversion—among other things using PowerShell.
